- May 7, 2009: Our poster on the design of SPROV has been accepted at USENIX Annual Technical Conference 2009.
- May 5, 2009: I gave a talk at the Yahoo!-DAIS seminar series, titled, Fake Picassos, Tampered History, and Digital Forgery: Protecting the Genealogy of Bits with Secure Provenance
- March 30, 2009: Our article "Secure Provenance: The Genealogy of Bits", will appear in USENIX ;login: magazine, June 2009 issue. Just turned in the final version.
- March 23 , 2009: Our tech report on TLOW Architecture for regulatory compliant databases is available at UIUC CS Dept site.
- February 25, 2009: I presented our paper on Secure Provenance at USENIX FAST 2009. Slides are available here.

- December 5, 2008: I have received the CIDR Graduate Student Scholarship for attending CIDR 2009.

- November 10, 2008: My paper on Remembrance got accepted at the 4th Biennial Conference on Innovative Data Systems Research (CIDR 2009).
- November 4 , 2008 : My paper on Secure Provenance got accepted at USENIX FAST 2009!!! (23/102 = 22.5%)

October 27, 2008 : Analyzing NASPINet Dataflows, based on my summer 2008 work at NCSA, is to be published at IEEE PSCE 2009.
- October 4, 2008 : I presented our poster at the 2008 Midwest Database Workshop and Research Symposium in University of Illinois at Chicago.
- October 2008 : The NASPINet paper will be presented in North American SynchroPhasor Initiative Working Group Meeting. This is based on the research I did in Summer 2008 at NCSA.
- September 2008: I am serving in the Program Commitee of IEEE IDCS 2008.
- August 2008 : My ACSAC 2008 paper on Mashups has been accepted. This work was done at Google last summer.
- August 2008 : I finished my summer project at NCSA/ITI, where I developed a NS-2 based simulator for NASPINet.
- May 2008 : I am acting as the Web and Proceedings chair for ACM WPES 2008.
